I'm Zsófi, a private practice psychologist from Hungary. I moved abroad in 2012 and have been living internationally ever since, mainly across the UK and Spain.
I offer online therapy sessions in English and Hungarian for individuals and I facilitate group sessions.
Before fully immersing myself in psychology, I worked in tech, hospitality, diplomacy, and performing arts — experiences that deeply inform my work today. I also have a great love for cinema and film psychology.
Beyond my private practice, I do mental health coordination and facilitate trainings and workshops for film crews and corporate teams, host a film psychology event series called Psynema, a psychological talk series called PsyCurious and run therapy groups.
My therapeutic approach
I work with an integrative and non-pathologizing approach, meaning we focus on understanding your experiences rather than labeling them. My goal is to support your growth and self-awareness, helping you navigate life's challenges without reducing you to a diagnosis.
I blend psychodynamic talk therapy with elements from Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Mindfulness, and Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) to address challenges in work, personal life, and relationships.
Since difficulties often arise from multiple influences, we explore them from different angles. Together, we clarify your specific goals, uncover root causes, and carve a path toward meaningful change. Sessions are tailored to your unique needs, with the ultimate goal of helping you become your own therapist.
